Motion Rebrands to Methodic, Bringing a New Name with the Same Trusted Productivity Experience
Motion, the innovative productivity company known for helping users stay organized and on top of their tasks, is excited to announce its rebrand to Methodic. The new name will better reflect the company’s mission to help users take control of their day in a methodical, organized way. Methodic is live at its new website, usemethodic.com, with a seamless transition for existing users.
Why Methodic? The new name "Methodic" perfectly embodies the company’s philosophy of helping people manage their tasks and calendars in an organized, efficient way. “Methodic” conveys a sense of structure and order, aligning with the company’s mission to bring clarity to chaotic schedules and tasks.

Seamless Transition for Users
For current users, the transition from Motion to Methodic is simple and straightforward:
• Web App: Users can log in using their existing Google accounts. Bookmark the new link, and you're good to go!
• Desktop App: Once logged in, Mac and Windows users can download the Methodic desktop app.
• Chrome Extension: Once logged in, users will be prompted to uninstall the old Chrome extension if they previously installed it and install the new one.
• Mobile App: A mobile update reflecting the new name is available now for both Android and iPhone/iPad apps. Simply update to the latest version of the app to see change.
All user data has been seamlessly transferred to Methodic, allowing users to pick up right where they left off. Additionally, the old Motion platforms (website, web app, and desktop app) will no longer be accessible after January 16th, 2024.
Looking Ahead
As Methodic continues to evolve, users can expect new and exciting improvements. The rebrand marks the beginning of a new chapter for the company, but the same dedicated team remains behind the scenes, working to deliver a top-tier productivity experience.
From now on, all communication will come from usemethodic.com email addresses, and the company encourages users to update their contact information accordingly.
